Join us for an inspiring and informal conversation with acclaimed designer and entrepreneur Wayne Hemingway MBE. Wayne will be interviewed by and Black on Board CEO Lara Oyedele, as they explore what it truly means to call somewhere home. Far more than bricks and mortar, a home shapes our wellbeing, our choices, and our future. Wayne will share insights from decades of experience in placemaking and community-led design — discussing how we can build places that nurture happiness, belonging, and opportunity. We’ll delve into how thoughtful design can empower young people to make life choices freely, as previous generations could, without being limited by housing constraints. The session will be a relaxed, interview-style talk over drinks, with plenty of time afterwards to continue the conversation informally during networking.
